Como is part of St. Paul Parks & Recreations and isn't privately or state owned. It was donated to he city over a 100 years ago.

Response: The pennies are this year's designs. I believe there are 2 previous years. I don't have them as this is the 1st year I've manage to locate the Kare11 barn on the fair grounds. I always thought it was at the Kare 11 health fair building and I couldn't find it there. Now I know why.

Comment: Thanks for the Reading Log. I have read most of the authors you listed but not all of the books. My favorite authors on the list are Ruth Rendell and Rex Stout. I LOVE Nero Wolf and have probably read every one, just not lately. Once you start reading him, you get hooked. I recently did a book on tape and loved the rendition of the stern man and his violets. He and Archie always get their man (or woman!).

Response: Well, I would avoid the winter monthes unless you like snow and cold. Our winter temps range from well below zero - not including the windchill to above freezing. Our summer weather varies from the 70's to close to 100 and sometimes over. Our summer temps come lierally during the summer - with some 70's possibly in May. When it comes to Minnesota, a lot depends on the weather. On the other hand, if the weather bothered me I wouldn't live here - it's either that or all Minnesotans are as crazy as they say we are. Seriously, what would you be interested in seeing and doing - indoors or outdoors - that will help you decide on when to come.

Comment: Oh-my-god! I wish I could give more hearts... The birthday package arrived this morning in separate (special) delivery, our regular mail comes later. And what was in this huge box? All sorts of crafts stuff! And I do mean ALL SORTS =) Journal and big scrapbook in my favorite color, many different embellishments like die cuts and stickers (paper, wooden, fabric), pen, papers, photopaper, plastic thingie to sort my cards or stickers, sweets... The value was way over the swap requirement (USD10). This person really looked into my profile. This person really made an effort with my package. This really made my day and week and birthday! Thank you! THANK YOU! =)

I especially love the children themes stamps (Cartoon, Bugs Bunny, Bambi, Alice, Arielle and others). Lady Di is very cool, too!
