To me there's no better aroma than coming to a place that has bread baking. It draws you in. Not to insult anyone, but I could smell bread baking all day compared to a manufactured expensive perfume. Mmm, so good.

There must be bread bakers out there! You will have 1 partner and you will send them a recipe for either a yeast bread or bun recipe. Not a muffin or biscuit but some form of bread, buns, or roll recipe. Please add in 2 factory wrapped teas or 1 hot chocolate pkg.

This is international, so do you have a link to a page where we could figure out the equivalent between metric and standard?

Most baking books that people own have that equivalent chart.

There are lots of bread-machine folks out there -- I tend to prefer hand made......there is just something so very therapeutic about bread-making. Does this swap include bread-machine recipes or just hand-made?

You know I thought about that @kerrydwynn For myself I use my hands. This morning I'm making whole wheat cinnamon buns and I'm kneading away and thinking how good it is to use your hands. I've never owned a bread machine. So this is for HANDS ON bread baking! No machine. Sorry to disappoint anyone on this.

I'm not disappointed as I much prefer the hand-done breads. :-) It seems that a lot of food websites (i.e. www.food.com) refer to bread machines. Hands on breadmaking so therapeutic and rewarding!

Can't wait for this swap. I love baking all kinds of bread. I have some super recipes. But I will choose after I read my partners profile for likes.
