| [Note: I had to edit the swap sign-up date to a few days sooner; the send-by date is the same as it was.] Let's have fun making note cards with our pretty tapes. Washi tape, paper tape, fabric tape - even shiny deco tapes will work in this swap. The only exception is, please do not use duct tape. Grab a few rolls of tape and/or some of the many washi samples you may have received in swaps and lay some different strips side by side on a piece of card stock (or blank index cards, file folders, etc.) In my example above, I put them diagonally and then added a stamped "hello" saying in the corner. As not all tape is created equal, I like to fold the edges around to the back so they'll stay down. When you have put as many strips as you want on the card, adhere it to a folded card. Feel free to use a similar design or come up with one of your own. Adding a stamped greeting is optional. Fine Details
Lastly, please include 4 different 15-inch strips of pretty tapes for your partner to play with. They can be any of the tape kinds I listed above. Anyone can join, but flakers need not apply. | |
