Description:

This is the beginning of a new swap series .... Memory Dex Alphabet cards.

We will make 2 cards each month that represent 2 different letters. This month we will start with the first 2 letters. So, one card that represents something that starts with the letter A, & the 2nd card will have something that starts with the letter B.

We will go in alphabetical order, so you can start making these cards accordingly. Just remember to sign up for this swap every month as usual.

Each MDC is 4" wide by at least 3.5" to 4" tall. Use a sturdy piece of cardboard, like from a cereal box, for the base, & add the 2 holes at the bottom.

Embellish by using scrapbook paper, book pages, music sheets, die cuts, words, fabric, lace, bling, charms, eyelets, anything. Create lovely layers. The items you can use are endless.

Note: Slapping on a couple pieces of paper or stickers is not good enough. Have a variety of items. Each item you use should vary in size, so your MDCs will look lovely. And it will still be pretty flat for the post office.

You can get started with making your MDCs right away. Then, when partners are chosen, you can send them out quickly. If you run into any problems, communicate with your partner. This is a requirement, not a suggestion. And if you have a question about this swap, contact me directly; do not message me below, because I probably won't see it!

Create something beautiful that you would like to receive. Be creative!

Remember to put your name & your Swap-Bot name on the back of each MDC, along with the swap name & date you made them. You can also add your address or email, but at the very least, write your town/state/country on the back of each memory dex card. I, personally, love to look back on these MDCs & see who made them for me!

And, most of all, have fun!

You must belong to the Mini Art Exchange Group in order to join this swap.
