What lengths are they? I can try and figure it out by my scale, LOL I'm sure we can get a round about number of pieces. :)

some are 10X10 cm

I had 3 10x10 cm papers that weighed 2.5g all together, so if my math is correct, it would be 60 pieces of 10x1 0cm to equal 50g. The papers I used are not thick, just regular paper. Hope this helps!

Yes decorative papers, most can found at scrapbook stores but I also know that some ladies use origami paper etc.
