2/24/25 WoWzers.... on Wednesday I catch the big bird and fly over the POND to SEE my daughter Chelle in the Netherlands..... back home here on March 12th... I have sent out all swaps.....and will rate those that come in after that..... big hugs ya'll..... and catch ya on the flip side....

..Hi everybody.... My name is Kate..... and I am really excited about swap-bot..........enjoy everything I get!!!.. Some of you know me from my Houston address... but I fell in love and moved to N TX and have been here 7 years already....wOw....

giraffes collect me... just LOVE postcards....animals, flowers, beautiful places... MOOMINS.. (wow my favorite Moomin characters are Snork Maiden, Too-ticky, Hemulen and little my)...... cartoons..vintage cards....etc etc etc...

I really like all kinds of MUSIC but especially enjoy FOLK MUSIC & ROCK & ROLL the oldies stuff. Shake Russell ( well Shake isn't old... he is still delighting us with concerts!!! ) ...Jackson Browne.... Neil Young, Neil Diamond... Elvis.....Joan Baez... Mercedes Sosa.... Gyspy Kings... you get the picture.....

I am a part time jewelry maker...I guess you would call me a beader. I love all kinds of beads, glass beads, Czech beads, wooden beads vintage beads....and stuff¦.did I say I like stuff and making ATC's and cards from stuff other people might THROW AWAY¦.. kinda like say holy crap that can be recycled and re used¦.. love this stuff!

I love time spent in Thrift Stores and I just LOVE a good bargain and yes you could call me a pack rat as I have everything ever given to me or collected and I love it.....

OH my favorite COLORS are PURPLE and Turquoise.....

I collect Giraffes!!! and folk type dolls....and all things folk/ethnic related....I was an international folk dancer & a Scandinavian dancer also¦. Have for now hung up my dancing shoes¦..

and I love to spend time at the beach & lake......and WINDMILLS... I just love windmills.....( I don't chase too many though!)

Looking forward to " meeting " you in a swap in whatever capacity.....

I love hand-made things....postcards included! Well someone asked me to write things I would enjoy receiving as "extras"¦. I love paper and postcards and cards and bits of ribbon and yarns I am really easy to please¦.if you wish surprise me!

I take swapping very seriously and NEVER flake on a swap.... so if you don't receive a swap from me in a timely fashion... just let me know..... I am happy to resend. Remember the PO is a bit slow these days esp. for International swaps....

I had a time doing this background technique-but finally got to one I liked after about the fourth try and with the heat and humidity here lately-it dried real fast!
